The Makita DHP484Z combi drill is a fantastic all-rounder that is well balanced and lightweight yet extremely powerful for its compact size. Being part of the LXT family it is compatible with all 18v LXT batteries. It has a brushless motor which transmits exceptional power while being ultra-efficient meaning that your batteries will last 30% longer when compared to a brushed motor and produces and requires zero maintenance. The DHP484 is a 3-mode machine with hammer mode for masonry drilling, rotary for steel, wood and plastics and torque mode has 21 settings that allow the clutch to slip for precision screw-driving.

The all-metal 2-speed gearbox has a high speed of 0-2,000rpm and a low speed of 0-500rpm where it delivers an impressive maximum torque of 54Nm. Other features include an easy-grip 13mm keyless chuck, LED job light and a comfortable rubberised handle that ensures a firm grip and lowers vibration.
