Makita JS1602 1.6mm Shear (240v/110v)

The Makita JS1602 is a direct replacement to the popular JS1600 and has been modernised with a new slim body, more powerful 380w motor, slightly lighter in weight at just 1.6kg and features a rubberised grip for better control.

The main body has a circumference of just 180mm making it ideal for single handed operation and the newly designed rocker switch eliminates the need to control the switch during use and a minimum cutting radius of just 30mm makes it ideal for intricate curved cutting.

Cutting capacities are 1.6mm in mild steel, 1.2mm in stainless steel and 2.5mm in aluminium and the square cutting head has 4 cutting edges that easily rotate to expose a new edge when required.
