The Makita DVC660 is a cordless backpack vacuum that takes two 18v LXT batteries connected in series to power its efficient 36v brushless motor. The unit is lightweight (6.1kg) and supplied with an adjustable padded harness making it comfortable to wear for extended periods and has a controller that can be handheld or clipped to the harness during operation to adjust speed or turn the unit on or off.

The DVC660 has 3-speed settings which provide suction power between 25-95w and a built-in HEPA filter that traps particles larger than 0.3 microns keeping the exhaust air clean and free from dust, pollen and other debris. Other features include a LED light on the controller to illuminate dark corners, battery protection against over-discharge and a large dust bag capacity for efficient working.
