The Makita EH5000W hedge trimmer features a 22.2cc 2-stroke engine and 50cm double sided blade with a maximum cutting diameter of 20mm. The new lightweight design (4.8kg) added with the further improvements in noise and vibration mean this machine is comfortable to handle and environmentally friendly.

The 5 position rotating rear handle can be locked at 0 degree and 45/90 degrees left and right for vertical or angled trimming and the forward exhaust direction helps keeps fumes away from the operator.

The floating engine section and handle feature 4 damper springs that absorb vibration from the engine isolating it from the front and rear handles.
