The Makita GA012GD202 40v Max brushless 115mm angle grinder is part of the new XGT range of tools from Makita which combine innovative tool design and high output batteries to provide a genuine solution for high demand industrial users.

The GA012GD202 angle grinder delivers the same power as a 1,000w corded unit and features a brushless motor which increases battery efficiency, providing longer runtime per charge and requires virtually no maintenance. AFT (active feedback technology) senses if the tool is suddenly forced to lock and instantly turns the motor off protecting the user and the unit and XPT protects the unit from dust and moisture. The GA012GD202 features a rubberised main body with a side handle that can be fitted both left and right-handed, and the wheel guard has a tool-less adjustment through 180 degrees. Other features include a paddle switch, electric brake for instant rotation stop and a spindle lock for easy wheel change.
