The Makita UX01GD202 40v Max brushless split shaft is part of the new XGT range of tools from Makita, which combine innovative tool design and high output batteries to provide a genuine solution for high demand industrial users.

The Makita UX01GD202 is the power drive for a family of garden tool attachments, including line trimmers, brush cutters, hedge trimmers, pole saws with many more available, powered by 40v Max XGT batteries, making it powerful and portable.

The unit has variable speed control with a soft start for smooth start-up plus an electric brake which stops the motor almost immediately the trigger is released. Constant speed control increases the power under load and IPX4 water resistance allows work to continue in light rain. Other features include active AFT (active feedback sensing technology), which protects the unit and user by shutting down the tool if the rotation speed suddenly slows down and tool-less attachment installation.
