The Makita BO4556 single speed palm sander has a sanding base of 112mm x 102mm and is designed to be held in the palm of the hand, hence the name. Weighing a mere 1.1kg these sanders can be used for a multitude of uses around the home and in an industrial environment.

The base features 2 clamps to secure the abrasive paper and has 6 dust extraction vents that when used in conjunction with the supplied cloth dust bag help to keep airborne dust to a minimum. The handle features a rubberised grip for better control and lower vibration and the dust extraction port can be coupled up to a dust extraction unit if required.
