Makita tools come with a standard 1 year warranty and as of 1st July 2012 you can extend selected* tools by a further 2 years making a 3 year warranty in total. To qualify for the 3 year warranty tools must be registered online and within 30 days of purchase at Makita UK.
Please note the extended 2 year period excludes batteries, chargers, accessories, petrol products and air tools.

Every Makita tool is checked and thoroughly inspected before they leave the factory and are guaranteed to be free of defects, in both workmanship and materials for a period of one year beginning from the date of purchase.
Please note that this guarantee does not apply where:
- Repairs have been made or attempted by others
- Repairs are required because of normal wear or tear
- The tool has been abused, misused or improperly maintained
- Alterations have been made to the tool
- This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights

Warranty Returns Procedure
In the unlikely event of your tool failing under warranty we have made the return process as simple as possible. Faulty items can be returned to any of Makita's network of authorised warranty dealers, to us or directly to Makita who will then inspect and repair/replace as appropriate.

- Makita have a dedicated warranty team who will arrange returns from you, please complete the online form from the link below and customer services will arrange collection of the faulty machine for inspection and repair

- Please package the faulty machine and write the RMA number on your parcel and have it ready for collection on the agreed date with Makita
