Makita HR5212C AVT SDS Max Rotary Demolition Hammer (240v/110v)

The HR5212C is the successor to the popular HR5211C and features higher operating efficiency and more comfort with unrivalled low levels of vibration.

With 19.1 joules this unit is suitable for drilling/heavy demolition tasks and thanks to Makita's patented AVT (anti vibration technology) vibration levels are ultra low at just 9.0 m/sec² in rotary hammer mode and 8.0 m/sec² in hammer only mode. The rear handle is separated from the motor/transmission and had a rubber moulding for more comfortable operation. The "Soft no Load" function idles the machine until under load and the constant speed control keep the motor speed level even while under load.

There is a one touch sliding chuck for easy bit change over and a torque limiter protect the user from "snagging" in rotary mode plus the easy mode change lever situated at the top of the unit has a lock on hammering mode for continuous chiselling applications. Other features include a LED lights that indicates when the carbon brushes need changing and if there is trouble with the electrical circuit. Drilling capacities are Ø52mm solid bit and Ø152mm core bit in concrete. This machine is compatible with SDS Max drill bits and chisels and is supplied with a heavy duty carry case.
