Makita 988001711 Safety Kit - Large (32-38")

The Makita 988001711 chainsaw safety kit includes safety trousers with braces, safety gloves and helmet with visor and ear defenders.

The trousers are to EN381/5 Class 1 which is offers the same level of protection as professional trousers. The safety helmet has a fine meshed visor attached which is hinged and can be raised to the top of the helmet and out of view when not required, the ear defenders which are to EN352-3 can also be raised and stored on the helmet to allow conversations to be heard when machinery is not running. The gloves have "high visibility" orange detail and the left hand glove has cut resistant layer.

This set is the ideal entry level chainsaw safety kit for logging or tree felling for domestic user around the garden or paddock. We recommend chainsaw boots are also used to provide all round cover while using chainsaws. This safety kit is available in 2 sizes, large which is suitable for waist sizes 32" - 38" and extra large which is suitable for waist sizes 38" - 44".
