Makita DCE090 Twin 18v Brushless Disc Cutter (All Versions)

The Makita DCE090 Twin 18v disc cutter is a lightweight two-handed disc cutter with a 36v DC motor that is powered by 2 x 18v LXT batteries and is suitable for tasks including patios, roofing, blockwork, steel cutting and general construction. The brushless motor extends battery runtime, produces less heat and requires no maintenance meaning less runtime and more productivity.

Active feedback technology (AFT) monitors the cutters rpm and electronically turns off the motor if rotation suddenly stops protecting the user against "snagging". Other features include soft start, electronic brake, LED job light and a lock-off button for safe operation.

The DCE090 has a quick hose coupling and stop tap, making it possible to connect to a water supply to reduce airborne dust while cutting masonry and both handles have rubberised grips for firm control and reduced vibration.
