The Makita DDF458Z is a heavy duty drill/driver suitable for professional use featuring a steel keyless chuck, all metal gearbox and twin LED job lights for improved visibility. The size to power ratio of this unit is impressive with an overall length of just 225mm and a maximum torque of 91Nm plus a 2-speed gear box, low of 0-400rpm for screwdriving and high of 0-2,000 for drilling.

The DDF458Z has rubber bumpers and a rubber moulded handle for better grip and protection and a extended removable side handle gives the user greater control under load. 21 torque setting allow for precise screwdriving and a drill only mode disengages the clutch for heavy duty drilling. Enhanced dust and drip-proof performance ensure reliable operation even under bad weather and a LED battery indicator displays the current state of the battery.
