The Makita DDG460 earth auger quickly bores holes in soil up to 200mm diameter and is ideal for landscapers, fencing and agricultural contractors. With a 36v brushless motor powered by twin 18v LXT batteries, the DDG460 removes the need for petrol and problematic starting and is always ready to go when you are.

The DDG460 features a handle set with bar and auxiliary handle for safe two-handed operation and a torque limiter that protects the operator against snagging. ATD technology automatically changes the cutting speed according to the load condition for optimum operation and soft-start delivers the power gradually for a smoother experience.

When equipped with 2x6Ah batteries, the DDG460 can drill up to 155 holes with a 150mm auger or 90 holes with a 200mm auger. Auger sizes 100mm, 150mm, and 200mm (soft ground only) are available, plus an extension bar for deeper excavations.
