Makita DLM481Z Twin 18v Self Propelled 48cm Lawn Mower (Body Only)

The Makita DLM481Z self-propelled lawnmower is part of the LXT family of tools powered by twin 18v batteries and is suitable for lawns up to 800 square metres. With a 48cm plastic deck, improved grass collection and generous 62-litre grass collection box with grass level indicator, the DLM481Z is ideal for medium to large domestic gardens.

Safety features include anti-restart to prevent accidental operation when changing batteries and a child lock key that blocks use when removed. The DLM481Z has a single-handed, 10 stage cutting height adjustment, and IPX4 water resistance protects the unit in light showers. Other features include a battery fuel gauge, an electric brake that stops blade rotation on trigger release and a mulching function that finely chops clippings returning them to the lawn for fertilising.

The DLM481Z mower provides around 23 minutes of mowing time in self-propelled mode when used with 2 x BL1860B batteries, the equivalent of roughly 650 square metres.
