The Makita GA9062R has the same features as the GA9062 but with the added features of soft start to prevent snatching and an anti restart function that prevent the motor from running if the unit is plugged in with the switch in the "on" position.

The GA9062R angle grinder has a powerful 2,000w motor and a lightweight design with excellent tool balance for easy handling during operation. Features include a "D" handle to help prevent accidental start up, a spindle lock for rapid blade change and a side handle that can be fitted left or right handed. The motor is more durable for heavy duty applications and the rigid motor housing delivers power from the motor to the wheel, with minimum energy loss.
