Makita PW5000C 100mm Wet Stone Polisher/Grinder (110v)

The Makita PW5000C 100mm soft start single speed variable wet stone grinder is fitted with a 100mm rubber backing pad that allows the fitting of Makita's stone polishing pads, they are available from the coarse 50grit (blue) to the very fine 3000grit (brown).

With a constant speed under load feature, the speed range on the Makita PW5000C is 2000-4000rpm which is adjusted by a dial on the rear of the machine, this allows for the optimum speed to be set depending on type of stone to be sanded. Three water supply holes evenly wet every channel of the polishing pad which reduces the amount of air born dust and helps prevent the pad from getting too hot.
